There is a deep fascination, respect and love for heart pine, as it is a historical resource that local Charlestonians used to build their factories, stores, and homes for hundreds of years. There is charm from each piece of reclaimed wood that is hand picked from demolished buildings, docks, railroads and our other sources. Each piece encompasses characteristics etched by time itself that simply cannot be reproduced with modern sawmills or aging processes. We are zealous about reclaiming material and turning them into art and keeping them from the ending up in a landfill.
